Sexy mens swimwear offers a whole new world of choices that men never had. Gone are the days of shorts and Speedos while the girls had more designs available to them then a man could imagine. The race to change men’s attitudes about their selections of swimwear designs started in Europe and up to a couple of years ago European men have been well ahead of the curve in fashion. Men in the USA, Canada and Asia are starting to catch up and in some regards men in these countries are well ahead of the style curve wearing the world’s most extreme styles. The USA takes the lead in sexy mens swimwear! The worlds most extreme styles are now found in the USA. We talked to Michael David the head designer for Koalaswim located in Los Angeles. He tells us that over 50% of their production finds its way overseas to Europe and Asia. Our designs are for men that are into spandex. We pride ourselves on making the ultimate micro suit, the most perfect fitting anatomically correct suits some are actually the exact shape of your equipment. We offer a full line of pouch only suits and g-strings so small they duplicate the nude sunbathing experience for those of us who do not have nude beaches near by. Michael tells us that he got into sexy mens swimwear design and production when he had trouble finding suits he like. I would shop for suits and find nothing but Speedos and shorts and on rare occasion a bikini from Europe. In my travels to Europe I would find much skimpier bikinis and some times a cool thong but never as extreme as I was craving. I started having custom designs that I would draw made for me by a gal who did custom suits for women. She could never believe how small I wanted my suits and the suit she made for me would be considered very conservative compared to most suits in Koala’s current line up. I would get tons of compliments from men and women on my suits when bodysurfing at the local beaches of my hometown Los Angeles. Most people would guess lots of gay men would be interested and that was true but I had straight surfers come up to me and other guys wives and girl friends asking me where I bought my swimwear. It was based on people’s reactions and me getting tired of spending a fortune on custom suits. That is how we started. I knew that other men had to be interested in sexy mens swimwear I just had no idea how large the market actually was. It has been an incredible journey meeting like minded people all over the world. Los Angeles is considered by many to be the extreme swimwear design capitol of the world with designs ranging from high fashion to suits that expose more and in different ways then many people could even dream of. You see some amazing designs on the beaches of LA with the most extreme being spotted at Venice,
